The NAPSR, The National Association Of Powered Skateboard Racing announced on Friday that the regulatory agency that governs the POWERED SKATEBOARD RACING LEAGUE Is considering the filing of legal suit against all individuals who colaborated in any way with the defrauding of PUBLIC TRUST and fairness. The skateboard community is so dissappointed in the current system as it is. The poloticians dont do things anymore for public good its all about re-elections and profit. We we now have a voice and we will use it, said the president of the NAPSR James Hawkins

Their original concept for this extremely high quality Skateboard was
conceived by James Hawkins and the focus brought onto it as a product
was influenced by believe it or not by a 75 year young man Col. Billy
Brown and their other partner James J. Cassity who at very cool age of
84 years young was obviously still with the vision that had enriched
his life all along. These two capitalists Billy Brown never looked at
James extra curricular activity as non sense but instead encouraged
their younger counterpart to continue developing this unique vehicle
at every turn.
As the board took varying shape and designs it miraculously continued
to developed each step of the way, becoming more and more of the
incredible racing machine that it is today. Hawkins who attributes
this product as a creation that was devinely inspired and whos hands
and motivations
were not his but is convinced was merely assisting the work of a
higher power. A being who has creative abilities had already been proven
and realized. The hand of God as Hawkins refers to then brought in
master fabricator and metal designer Ron " THE MAN" BURNS and Ronny
just being himself quickly grasped a hold of the task at hand and
delivered the Skateship to the next level. His contributions were
selfless and pure and his skills and knowledge were unrivaled in the
art of design and metal fabrication. It was not long after that he
became a partner in the company as well as Cassity and Hawkins would
not have it any other way. Then lightning struck again when
skateboarding’s Master champion and master designer Carlos Novo swept
into the picture initially as just a rider but immediately started
turning heads as his wealth of information and mechanical abilities
became apparent that this was no ordinary man . Carlos Novo at 49
years of age is the oldest of the riders to suit up and compete in the
races today. The only unfortunate thing about Carlos racing says the
other riders is that he is almost impossible to beat. This the only
bad thing ever mentioned about Carlos in the same breath. This middle
aged teenager is a Husband to his wife an unbelievable father to his
children and now instrumental to the company to such a degree that the
two cinematographers again had no choice but Carlos was needed as a
stock holding Partner as well that his knowledge leadership and
incredible gifts of talent are always the needs corporately speaking
necessary ingredients to have a successful business. As the 55 year old
Executive Producer has stated many times. The hand of God was
involved in this one directly and continuesly. Of course their were
others who were integral to taking on the challenges that never seemed
to stop popping up with almost daily occurrences.
James Cassity was not only Hawkins business partner but the three
Billy Brown, James J. Cassity and James Hawkins who together became
an effective team also became friends and Hawkins makes it very clear
that James J. Cassity was his best friend and the best friend anybody
could ever have.
The two were inseperable up untill Mr. Cassity’s recent passing. He
passed away just 6 months ago and although shaken by the loss.
Hawkins soon realized that the senior Cassity already had made his
mark on the younger producer and had already set into motion a
partnership that would include his son Gregg assuredly filling the
void that his death might create for Hawkins. Gregg Cassity whom has
filled his fathers position becoming the Vice President of all the
corporations that his father and Billy Brown had founded. Seemingly
has also filled his fathers shoes. And filled them to their entirity
and then some.
With the the financial backing of their third partner Billy Brown who
resides on the east coast in the sunny state of Florida. Gregg and
James quickly did what they knew the fatherly figure would want them
to do and that is. To first always be a human being and second get
busy living your own lives, blaze new trails, that would become the new
super highways of tomorrow and foremost living their own lives and
building their own dreams with destiny in their hands with God at
their side and on their side. Cassity who admits to have shared
reservations about how it would work out and if it would work out.
They were not surprised when their seemingly very different
backgrounds and personalities came together more and more. Proving to
each other that in this case Father must have known best. Hawkins who
admits that his new partnership with Gregg Cassity was a parting
gift from his friend and mentor. And that deep down inside always had
faith that some how ,some way his good friend would still be with him
guiding him and supplementing strategically as he always had.

They said there was no way skateboarders would ever race on a Velodrome track

They said there was no conceivable way a rider could maintain control of a powered skateboard at speeds of 40 MPH

Well "They" don't know Jimmy

James "Jimmy" Hawkins was a regular man with a regular dream, an American dream: To create the first self-powered skateboard capable of full-speed track racing, and to found the world's first Nationally ranked association of powered skateboard racing.

Today, that dream becomes reality.
